Distracted

I'm at work and my online homework is not being very obliging, so I'm going to make a list:

Top 10 Things that Make Summer Feel like Summer:

10. Sunning at the Pool- spare me the lectures on skin cancer, i know. but, summer isn't summer unless i've at least spent some time sniffing the chlorine reading a good book in a lawn chair.

9. Bad Tan Lines- goes along with #10, but i feel like they belong in their own category. if you have a sock tan, rock on... if there no tan lines because you tan in the nude, wow.

8. Mosquitos- no something i enjoy at all... but summer in Texas would not be complete without them and all the caladryl lotion i buy before the summer is over.

7. The Smell of Coconut & Limes- this smell takes me back to a summer where my family stayed in a beach condo for a week-ish. My shower gel I had just bought smelled like that, and forever since I'm reminded of summer when I use it.

6. Lemonade- i usually stay away from it due to the acidity, but in the summer i drink myself sick of this wonderful drink.

5. The Beach Boys- an essential sound of summer. 'Nuff said.

4. Sun Tan Lotion- again, it's a smell thing. i don't particulary like the nasty, greasy feeling of it, but it smells like summer and i love it.

3. Fresh Cut Grass- it itches and it makes my allergies go nuts, but it's needed to help complete my 'summer time' vibe.

2. Bright Colors- Summer isn't summer without neon colored everything. From picnic accesories to beach towels, it is the only time of year that it's acceptable to wear tye-dye colors and get away with it.

1. SCORCHING heat from the sun- all this nasty rain has definately ruined my parade thus far, but the sun has been shining for 3 days now and i hope it keeps it up!!
